Wilmer Valderrama Addresses Stana Katic’s NCIS Set Visit

Wilmer Valderrama, known for his role on NCIS, addressed fan speculation about Stana Katic’s visit to the show’s set. The visit occurred in March 2026, leading to rumors of a potential guest appearance by Katic.

In an interview with TV Insider on April 28, 2026, Valderrama clarified the nature of Katic’s presence, saying it stemmed from their long-standing friendship. Katic, who starred as Kate Beckett on ABC’s Castle for eight seasons, sparked buzz after her informal visit.

Valderrama noted that he and Katic have discussed the possibility of collaborating professionally in the past. “Stana and I have been pals. We’ve known each other for many years, and we’ve always chatted about working together,” he stated during the interview.

He emphasized their ongoing conversations about creating something together, highlighting Katic’s talent as a “strong, bada** actress.” Valderrama explained that Katic’s visit was a chance to catch up with old colleagues.

“She just hit me one day. She goes, ‘I’d love to come and visit you guys. I haven’t seen you in a long time.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, come,’” Valderrama said, describing the visit.

Her presence reportedly surprised the production staff, causing a stir among crew members. “As soon as she entered the set, the crew, the writers, the directors, everyone was like, ‘What? What’s happening? Why is she here?’” Valderrama recalled.

Valderrama also expressed his close bond with Katic and her husband, Kris Brkljač, whom he considers a brother. Despite the excitement around Katic’s visit, Valderrama confirmed that there is no news regarding a scripted role for her on NCIS.

“Her coming up, I knew it was going to steer some things, but I have nothing to report on that yet,” he admitted, keeping fans informed about the current status.
