Qatar Airways will resume flights from Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH) to Auckland Airport (AKL) on June 16, 2026.
This route had previously been served daily but was suspended due to the conflict in Iran. The resumed flights will include a stop at Adelaide Airport (ADL) in Australia for 90 minutes.
The overall block time for these two-leg flights will be approximately 20 hours. The new one-stop route will operate daily until September 14, 2026.
Flight QR914 will depart Doha at 8:00 PM, landing in Adelaide at 3:30 PM the next day. After a 90-minute layover, it will continue to Auckland, arriving at 11:30 PM.
The return flight, QR915, is scheduled to leave Auckland at 5:45 PM, reaching Adelaide at 8:30 PM. Following another 90-minute stop, the flight will depart Adelaide at 10:00 PM and arrive in Doha at 5:00 AM the next day.
This new route is part of Qatar Airways’ broader expansion for the summer schedule. The airline stated, “The updated schedule, valid until 15 September 2026, introduces new routes and increased frequencies to and from Doha, offering passengers greater flexibility as they plan for the summer season.”
While Auckland is not a new destination for Qatar Airways, this service marks the first time it will include a stopover in Adelaide.
