Olivia Rodrigo Discusses Love Phase and Dinner Date with Winter

Olivia Rodrigo recently revealed her current “phase of love” in an interview with Cosmopolitan, published on April 29. In a conversation with her best friend Madison Hu, Rodrigo expressed excitement about experiencing “friendship love”. She stated, “Oh my God. I’m in the most important phase, the friendship love that I’m sitting right across from.”

Rodrigo, 23, emphasized the value of “best friend, community love,” adding that “dating is just the cherry on top.” Despite this, she did not confirm her relationship status in the interview.

On April 15, Rodrigo was seen dining in Los Angeles with Cameron Winter, the frontman of Geese. During their dinner, Rodrigo wore a red cardigan and jeans, accessorized with a black purse and a Chateau Marmont cap, while Winter, 24, opted for a black Champion T-shirt and black pants.

The two were spotted smiling during their outing, which has sparked dating rumors. A representative for Winter declined to comment when approached by PEOPLE.

Previously, Rodrigo was romantically linked to British actor Louis Partridge, with dating rumors surfacing in October 2023. Their relationship has remained mostly private, with rumors suggesting they have since parted ways.

In a September 2025 interview with Esquire UK, Partridge, 22, discussed the public attention following their appearance at Wimbledon in July. He remarked, “I did see a lot of photos from that, and it felt quite public,” adding, “Olivia and I choose, or have been choosing, to not be so public.”
