Fabio Di Giannantonio Optimistic About MotoGP Future

Fabio Di Giannantonio is optimistic about his future in MotoGP following a strong start to the season.

Currently, he ranks third in the rider standings, trailing the Aprilia duo of Bezzecchi and Martin.

Several offers are on the table, including an interesting one from the Gresini team.

Alex Marquez, the winner of the GP of Jerez, is moving to KTM factory, while Di Giannantonio is considering his options.

He stated, “I want to be honest, I don’t want to play poker!”

He expressed gratitude for his current situation and mentioned that discussions regarding his future would happen peacefully.

Di Giannantonio acknowledged that interest from teams signifies he is performing well.

He noted, “Of course, news is needed for people, but we are only at the fourth race of the season!”

He emphasized that he will wear his current team’s colors until the end of the season.

Di Giannantonio believes that this is the best team he has ever had.

During the Jerez test, he completed a busy program, testing various updates for the Ducati GP26.

Though time was limited, he described the day as generally positive.

The focus was on the new aerodynamic fairing of the Desmosedici, which is not yet final.

He commented, “It was important for Ducati to receive final feedback to bring another version in the future.”

Di Giannantonio also expressed satisfaction with changes made within the fairing, noting significant improvements.

He and his fellow riders worked on the engine brake during the MotoGP test at Jerez.

Di Giannantonio remarked that finding further improvements is challenging when the bike is already performing well.

He shared that some settings worked better than others, but he was content with his default setup.

As the season progresses, he hopes to further enhance his performance in upcoming races.
