Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh is out of the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Chicago Cubs. The left-handed-hitting Marsh started Tuesday against Cubs southpaw Shota Imanaga. He will hit the bench Wednesday as Chicago sends another lefty, Matthew Boyd, to the mound.
Marsh’s absence comes after the Phillies’ 7-4 loss on Tuesday. Justin Crawford, who took a seat during Tuesday’s game, will re-enter the starting nine in center field. Crawford will replace Marsh for Wednesday’s contest.
