Park Chan-Wook is preparing to showcase his upcoming film, The Brigands of Rattlecreek, at the Cannes Film Festival.
This film features a star-studded cast, including Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, Oscar nominee Austin Butler, and four-time Emmy nominee Pedro Pascal.
Chinese actress Tang Wei also joins the cast for this Western film.
S. Craig Zahler, known for Bone Tomahawk, wrote the original screenplay for this project.
The film, produced by Bradley Fischer, will be on sale at Cannes through Patrick Wachsberger’s Legendary label 193.
Park Chan-Wook has made revisions to the most recent draft of the screenplay.
As he presides over the jury at Cannes, Park’s film is expected to attract significant market interest.
