Tottenham Hotspur face stiff competition to sign Leon Goretzka from Bayern Munich.
A recent report from Calciomercato stated that Spurs will have to compete with Juventus, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid to sign the German player next summer.
Goretzka has impressed in the Bundesliga, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 42 appearances for Bayern Munich this season.
The 31-year-old is one of the most experienced midfielders in the league.
His contract at the Allianz Arena expires at the end of the season, potentially opening the door for Tottenham to sign him on a free transfer. Goretzka is known for his strong pen-tackling ability and ability to recover the ball for his team.
He also possesses a strong long-range shooting ability and the vision to create chances for his teammates in the final third. His energy and mobility in midfield are valuable assets for the team.
However, there are doubts about whether Goretzka would be able to adapt to the Premier League if Spurs were successful in signing him. He will add quality and depth to Tottenham manager Robert De Zerbi’s squad.
