Saga Hisamitsu Springs Wins 2025-26 SV.League Championship

Saga Hisamitsu Springs secures the SV.League title, defeating Osaka Marvelous in the finals.

Saga Hisamitsu Springs reclaimed the Japanese women’s volleyball championship on March 26, 2026, by defeating Osaka Marvelous in the 2025-26 Daido Life SV.League final series.

The team won their first national title since 2022 and their ninth overall. Libero Minami Nishimura earned the MVP award following an exceptional season and playoff performance.

Saga finished second in the regular season with a record of 36-8. They carried their postseason momentum into the finals held at Yokohama Buntai.

In the opening match of the series, Saga achieved a hard-fought victory in five sets against Osaka Marvelous. Stephanie Samedy and Sae Nakajima each scored 22 points in that match.

The series was concluded with Saga winning decisively in straight sets the following day. Samedy led the match with a total of 23 points.

Osaka Marvelous, the defending champions, finished as runners-up in this season’s competition. NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki secured third place in the final standings.

The final series results showed Saga Hisamitsu Springs defeating Osaka Marvelous 3-2 and then 3-0.
