UFC Perth has experienced a last-minute change to its fight card just three days prior to the event. Jack Jenkins withdrew from his featherweight bout against Marwan Rahiki due to an undisclosed injury. The UFC announced on Wednesday that Ollie Schmid will replace Jenkins and face Rahiki in a 145-pound clash.

This bout marks Rahiki’s second appearance in the octagon. He aims to improve his professional record to 9-0 since turning pro in 2024, with all his victories coming by stoppage. Rahiki has secured seven knockouts, including second-round stoppages against Ananias Mulumba and Harry Hardwick at Dana White’s Contender Series and UFC events.

Ollie Schmid brings a professional record of 4-2 to this matchup. He has accepted a last-minute invitation to the UFC and enters on a three-fight winning streak. This streak includes a notable 15-second spinning back fist knockout over Jeffrey Mesa this past March in New Zealand.

The UFC Perth event will occur at the RAC Arena. The main event features former welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena facing Carlos Prates, while Beneil Dariush will fight Quillan Salkilld in the co-headliner.
