New Zealand captain Tom Latham won the toss and elected to bat Monday in the second one-day cricket international against Bangladesh in Mirpur.

New Zealand retained the starting lineup that won the series-opener by 26 runs.

The team aims to clinch the three-match ODI section of the tour.

Bangladesh made one lineup change for the match.

Batting allrounder Soumya Sarkar replaced Afif Hossain in the team.

The Bangladesh lineup is Saif Hassan, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, and Najmul Hossain Shanto.

It also includes Litton Das, Towhid Hridoy, and Soumya Sarkar.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz is the captain, with Rishad Hossain also playing.

Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed, and Nahid Rana complete the Bangladesh side.

The New Zealand lineup features Henry Nicholls, Nick Kelly, and Will Young.

Captain Tom Latham, Muhammad Abbas, and Dean Foxcroft are also playing.

Josh Clarkson, Nathan Smith, and Blair Tickner are in the team.

Jayden Lennox and William O’Rourke round out the New Zealand eleven.
